Benjamin C. Conley, 46, of Collins, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident after being hit by an impaired driver.

Ben was known by many names: Bennyboy, Bengi, and Bennaman were among the favorites. Ben will forever be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by so many.

He was born Sept. 13, 1976, in Sandusky, to Curtis and Barbara Conley. He attended Western Reserve High School and proudly served in U.S. Marine Corps. His career included heavy equipment operator, laborer, welder, and fabricator. However, the most treasured part of his life was taking care of his family. Ben was a man of many talents. There is not much he could not do. He loved fishing, spending time with friends and family, riding his motorcycle, going to auctions, and starting (sometimes finishing) many "projects" in his shop. Ben spent most of his free time teaching his grandchildren his many skills to include painting, mechanics, fabricating, welding, concrete, and woodworking.

Ben's motto was, "What happens at Papa's stays at Papa's." Ben had an incredible sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was always willing to help whenever anyone was in need.

He is survived by his wife, Danielle Conley; sisters, Jennifer Conley and Katie Clark; mother, Barbara Conley; and children, Kyle and Angel Conley, Lauren (Nick Falbo) Conley, Cara Hite, Isaiah (Carleah Hartley) Antill, and Dalaney Antill. He was the most wonderful Papa to Marz, Lino, Zuri, soon to be here baby Jaqx Conley, Declan Falbo, Oliver Keith, and Oaklyn Antill. Ben was an incredible uncle, nephew, and cousin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Conley; and other loving family members.

A memorial service will 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman. The family will be hosting a gathering Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, to honor Ben.
