Jean Warren, 85, of Wakeman, passed away Wednesday February 18, 2026, at Norwalk Memorial Home, Norwalk. She was born March 1, 1940, in Lebanon, Ohio, to the late Albert and Daisy (Billingsley) Ullum.

Jean and her late husband, Ben, operated the successful Warren's Auction Co. in Wakeman for 30 years. Jean handled all the bookkeeping while Ben was busy refinishing the antiques. They were quite the couple in the auction business.

Jean loved preparing meals for her family; her love of cooking led to many fun-filled hours in the kitchen with her grandson, Danny. She and Danny developed the recipe for the famous White Box Bakery cinnamon roll. She was also never without a good book on her Kindle and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians.

Jean is survived by her children, Bob (Pam) Warren of Lorain, Bill Warren of Wakeman, and Julie (Tim) Grine of Collins; her grandsons, Nick (Courtney) Grine and Danny (Emily) Grine; and brothers, Eric Ullum and John Ullum.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ben; her sisters, Frances Jacobson, Janet Whitaker, Anna Montag, and Kathryn Clark; and her brothers, Edward Ullum, Robert Ullum, James Ullum, and Thomas Ullum.

The family would like to sincerely thank the outstanding staff at Norwalk Memorial Home for the love they have shown Jean for the past three years. It was a blessing to have her in such a special place.

At Jean's request, there will be no visitation or service. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, is assisting the family.
