Irene M. Bishop, 91, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, April 9, 2026, at The Willows at Willard.
She was born May 26, 1934, in Monroeville, and was a graduate of Monroeville High School. Irene enjoyed playing Euchre, games, visiting Hollywood Casino, Bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by six children, Michael (Becky) Bishop, Russell (Bernie) Bishop, both of Norwalk, Susan (Burl) Dellinger of Monroeville, Daniel (Lisa) Bishop of Bellevue, Karen (Jim) Dellinger, and Mark (Becky) Bishop, both of Monroeville; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bishop, in 1991; her parents, Ralph and Louise (Rock) Rose; two brothers, Donald Rose and Robert Rose; and a sister, Virginia Hoose.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. Fr. Charles Obinwa will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville. Social gathering to follow.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to St. Joseph Endowment Fund, 79 Chapel Street, Monroeville, Ohio 44847.
