Brian Lee Black, 72, residing in Norwalk, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 afternoon at University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.

Lee was born July 28, 1953, in Cleveland, to the late Theodore and Helen (Noonan) Black.

Lee was employed as an equipment operator with Castalia Trenching for many years. He enjoyed traveling, reading, camping, and fishing, and especially treasured his visits to the islands, most notably Put-in-Bay. Lee was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Guardians, and he never passed up the chance to enjoy a good game of poker. Above all, Lee cherished the time he spent with his dear friends, creating memories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Lee is survived by his loving companion of thirty-nine years, Vickie Tripp. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce Black and his sister, Robin Black.

A Private Graveside service will be at Milan Cemetery, Milan. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory - Milan Chapel is assisting family with arrangements.
