Sandra (Sandy) K. Bercheck, 70, residing in rural Monroeville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

Sandy was born Nov. 2, 1952, in Lakewood, to the late Alexander and Stella (Voloshen) Miller. She graduated from Lakewood High School and furthered her education at Cleveland State University before transferring to Ohio State University to complete her bachelor's degree in 1975. Sandy was a dedicated employee at School of Hope in Fremont and later at Christie Lane School in Norwalk, serving as case manager while at each workplace.

Sandy enjoyed designing and creating jewelry under her business moniker, "Bo-Ho Beads." Sandy also loved to design greeting cards for any occasion. She enjoyed gardening, reading novels, shopping, even more shopping, long walks with our dogs, and most importantly, spending time in God's Word. Sandy had a servant's heart and spent time volunteering at The Chapel, Norwalk Area Food Bank, and Monroeville Public Library's special events. She had an unique sense of humor that allowed her to make others smile. Her greatest joy of all was her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Donald Bercheck, whom she married June 20, 1981; children, Bethany (Douglas) Costlow of Watauga, Texas, and Benjamin Bercheck of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Ram Costlow and Isaac Costlow; and many loving cousins.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, until the time of Sandy's memorial service at 12 p.m. at The Chapel, Norwalk Campus, 156 S. Norwalk Road W., Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist family with arrangements.
