Robert "Bob" Pfaffle, former resident of Huron, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.

He was one of two children born to Charlotte and Frederick Pfaffle of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Bob was a proud veteran and enjoyed a career in sales after completing his service. He was passionate about exercising, gardening, and woodworking. Bob had a boisterous laugh and loved to tell jokes and stories. He was an active member of Saint Peter Catholic Church in Huron.

Bob joins his wife of 53 years, Patricia Pfaffle, who passed in Aug., 2021. They were devoted parents to Lee (Robert) Pfaffle and Stephanie Andres Pfaffle of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Drs. Elizabeth Pfaffle and Andrew Yozviak of West Chester, Pennsylvania, and uncle to Lisa Nicolette of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their greatest joy was spending time with their grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Pfaffle, and Joseph Yozviak.

Contributions may be made in his honor to Saint Peter Catholic Church, Huron, or Christ's Community Meals at First Presbyterian Church, 225 Williams Street, Huron, Ohio.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at Saint Peter Catholic Church.
