Robert Myles "Bob" McGinn

Norwalk

Robert "Bob" Myles McGinn, 70, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born March 7, 1956, in Norwalk, to Myles B. McGinn and Rachel L. (Skinner) McGinn Bowdoin. He was a 1974 graduate of Norwalk High School and served in the US Air Force. He worked in dispatch at R+L Trucking, as a manager at Pennzoil and enjoyed working at Hills Carpeteria in Norwalk. Over the years, he lived in Texas and Arkansas, and returned to Norwalk a few years ago. He was a member of Norwalk Eagles, Eagle Riders, Norwalk VFW, American Legion and was an avid golfer who enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife and attending car shows.

He is survived by his son, Brett McGinn; mother, Rachel (McGinn) Bowdoin; his beloved dog, Annie; siblings, Gary (Cathy) McGinn, Sherilyn (Allan) Greaves, Ronald (Tina) McGinn, Alan McGinn, and Jeff McGinn; brother-in-law, Barry (Pat) Reamer; sister-in-law, Melanie (Michael) Volk; numerous nieces and nephews; special aunt, Gertrude McGinn; best friends, Bill and Roberta Wright.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheri (Reamer) McGinn, in 2022; and his father, Myles B. McGinn, in 1969.

Private interment will be at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Memorial contribu-tions may be sent to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
