Joseph Cammalleri, 86, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, March 26, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Joseph was born July 14, 1939, in Sandusky, to the late Angelo and Lucy (Sarrica) Cammalleri.

Joseph graduated from Sandusky High School. He retired from JH Routh Packing Co. after many years of dedicated service. Joseph was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Joseph is survived by his sister, Tina Gregory; sister-in-law, Kathy Cammalleri; nieces and nephews, Denise Gregory, AJ (Deanna) Cammalleri, Tabatha (Kenneth) Timmons, Tess (Bart) Hustack, Emmy (BJ) Manley, John (Cory) Trueman; great-nephew, Tyler (Marissa) Cammalleri; great-niece, Taylor Cammalleri; great-great-neices, Laney and Aubrey Trueman and Kristiana Miller.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Cammalleri Sr. and sister, Virginia Trueman.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Deacon Bill Burch presiding. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Sandusky.
