Nancy A. Hoffecker, 88, residing in Norwalk, passed away Monday night, Feb. 20, 2023, at home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1934, in Garfield Heights, to the late Jack and Lillian (Flaum) May.
Nancy was a woman with unbelievably strong faith and incredible devotion to her children. She was extremely generous with her time and in service to others and was always sweet. In addition to raising her family and assisting her late husband Robert with his Podiatry Practice, Nancy was a church secretary at Norwalk United Methodist Church and heavily involved in their circle group meetings. She was also the girls varsity tennis coach at Norwalk High School and 2019 inductee into Eagle Creek "Heritage Park Honorees" wall of fame.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Charles of Sunbury and Jim of Norwalk; daughters, Susan Drawdy and Debra (Bill) Franzblau of San Diego, California, and Tracey (Mike) Moyer of Milan; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert C. Hoffecker in 2022; and brother, Allard May.
A celebration of Nancy's life is being planned for April 22, 2023, at Tracey's house.
