Willard
Maynard Stephens, 67, of Willard, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Willard, to Vernon and Lilly (Hughes) Stephens-Rathert. He was married to Barbara S. Oney, who survives in Willard.
Maynard was employed at RR Donnelley as a laminator operator. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He loved hunting and fishing, but mostly, spending time with his family was a big part of his life.
In addition to Barb, he is survived by his sons, Levi G. (Jessa) Stephens of Willard and Justin T. (Jenn) Stevens of Caledonia; grandchildren ,Noah, Lyberty, Selah, Ben, and Gracyn; sister, Naomi Stumbaugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Marlin Stephens, Vernie Tuttle and Loretta Oney.
Visitation for friends will be from 11-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at Hanneman Funeral Home, 323 Myrtle Ave., Willard, 44890, with his funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ronald Legg officiating. Burial will follow service at Centerton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Maynard.

I went to school with Maynard in Willard. Alway had a great sense of humor. He was a great guy. I moved away from willard back in 1983 and fell out of touch with many folks. Sorry for your loss. RIP MAYNARD.
