Betty Wanda (Crisp) Cooper, 93, was born March 23, 1932, in New Boston, Ohio, to the late James and Nancy (Adkins) Crisp went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving children.

Betty met the love of her life, Charles Cooper, at the ripe age of 15 at New Boston Church of God, where he was the youth leader. They were married September 20, 1947, in Greenup, Kentucky. This was just the beginning of the many years that they would continue to be servants of the Lord. Betty and Charles were pastors at several Church of God of Prophecy churches in Ohio. After Charles retired from the ministry, Betty went to work for Walmart, cleaning businesses and homes. In 1993, Betty was hired in the activities department at Providence Hospital - St. Ann's Unit. She continued to work until she retired in 2004 at the age of 72.

Betty was an avid Bible scholar and teacher and has been a mentor to several young pastors' wives over the years. She loved to sing and play piano for her church and volunteered for several years at Providence Care Center, sharing her talents with others.

Betty is survived by her children, Randy (Barb) Cooper of Blacklick, Robbin (Rick) Lawrence of Toledo, Tony (Linda) Cooper of Shelby, and Ranae (Keith) Seely of Castalia. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Shelly Schuster, Rachel Weiker, Beth Cooper, Jenny (Kevin) Walker, Sarah Carros, Misty (Jeff) Kurtzman, Bryan (Robin) Cooper, and Britany (Chris) Shannon; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; daughter, Pam Walters; son-in-law, Gene Walters; her siblings; and nieces and nephews.
