Mary Ann Santillana, 72, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born Jan. 8, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Oliver and Mary (James) Hamilton. At the age of 19, she married the love of her life, Jose Santillana, on Sept. 13, 1969, in Norwalk. Mary enjoyed spending time with friends and working in her flower garden. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jose; brother, Charles Hamilton; children, Mark (Jefferey Steele) Santillana, Brian (Talisha) Santillana, and Melissa (David) Pelsang; four grandchildren, Devin (Brianne) Santillana, Jonathan Pelsang, Bailey Santillana, and Ashlyn Santillana; and four great-grandchildren, Maddelynn Beal, Bentley Harrison, Aubrey Santillana, and Levi Beal.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Oliver Hamilton Jr., James Hamilton, David Hamilton, and Roger Hamilton.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Mary's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
