Mary Angela "Angie" Nida, 51, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at her home.

Angie was born Oct. 20, 1971, in Sandusky, the daughter of Frank (Joanne) Didion and Monica Schaffer.

Her entire life, our mom loved our poems, so we wrote one more for her:

Our Mom was a grandma, counselor, and friend. She fought cancer hard, but GOD needed her in the end. She was annoyingly optimistic and could see the good in everything. Her biggest donations went to the Ohio Lottery, trying to hit it big to retire. She was a member of her Whirlpool family for 30 years, where she met the love of her life and enjoyed a few beers. She was the best baker and her pumpkin rolls will be missed. She will ALWAYS be our anchor and we will ALWAYS be mad that GOD took her at 51 because although she was tired, we weren't done.

Angie is survived by her parents; daughters, Ashley (Dustin) Sinwald of Bellevue and Taylor (Holly) Morini of Harvest, Alabama; fiancé, Michael Hasenmeier of Bellevue; granddaughters, Miah and Emilia; siblings, Melissa (Johnnie) Mercer, Teresa (Scott) Crabtree, Frank Jr. (Jessica) Didion, Vicki (Raul) Radcliff, Jo (Brian) Krupp, Justine (Aaron) Byington, and Bruce (Dawn) Radcliff; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Angie will be private.
