MaryAnn LaVine Obituary

MaryAnn K. LaVine

Dec 27, 1936 - Jan 29, 2026

Norwalk

MaryAnn K. LaVine (nee Suda) was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 29, 2026, at home, surrounded by her children.

MaryAnn was born December 27, 1936, in Greenwood, Wisconsin, and lived there until 1941, when her family moved to Cleveland. After that, the family moved to a farm in Fitchville in 1944, where she learned to drive a tractor and milk cows. MaryAnn graduated from New London High School in 1955.

She was a resident of Milan for many years and was employed by Berlin-Milan School System and KeyBank in Milan.

She loved to garden and was a wonderful homemaker. After retirement, she volunteered at The Bellevue Hospital Gift Shop and, most recently, Fisher-Titus Hospital Gift Shop.

MaryAnn was a deeply spiritual person and a prayer warrior for those who knew her. She attended several churches in the area.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Westcott, Diane Mesenburg, and Elaine (George) VanDootingh; a son, Andrew LaVine; grandchildren, Allison Westcott-Ralston (Brandon), Lindsay Westcott, Jason Mesenburg (Kym), Heather Baker (TJ), Hannah Moehlman (Tyler), Benjamin VanDootingh, and Matthew VanDootingh (Gina); and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Boyer; a brother, Robert Suda; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joseph and Mary (Mikottis) Suda; MaryAnn was preceded in death by her infant son, Anthony; her former husband, William LaVine, whom she remained friendly with; and her son-in-law, Kerry Westcott.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at noon Saturday, February, 7, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory - Milan Chapel, 1 South Main Street, Milan. Burial will take place at a later date in Milan Cemetery.
