Mark A. Hinckley Sr., 64, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday morning, March 1, 2026, after a lengthy illness. He was born May 3, 1961, in Norwalk, to the late Kenneth M. and Martha A. (Denman) Hinckley. Mark graduated from Western Reserve High School and EHOVE in 1980.
A farmer, entrepreneur, and jokester, Mark was a heavy equipment operator and member of the Local 18 Operating Engineers Union. In 2009, he started his business, A & M Truck & Trailer Repair. Mark was a proud member of the F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge No. 322.
He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Hinckley; sons, Mark (Mandy) Hinckley II of Greenwich and Tyler Hinckley of New London; daughter, Danielle Glovinsky of Norwalk; and stepdaughter, Ashley Santarelli of Jackson Center; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Connie Mundy of Norwalk, Kathy (Mark) Steffanni of Norwalk, and Roy (Ann) Hinckley of Wakeman; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob.
Friends and family are invited to his visitation from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress casually and come as they are. Burial will take place at a later date.
