Kenneth Edward Pierce, 76, of Spotsylvania, Virginia, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his residence.
Kenneth was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Norwalk, to John Edward and Virgene Isabelle Pierce. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran of 20 years. He had several positions with Boy Scouts of America including Scoutmaster of troop 1378 in Dale City, Virginia.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Ann Pierce; two daughters, Tracey Joanne Miller of Spotsylvania, Virginia, and Wendy Lynn McGuire of Stafford, Virginia; son, Matthew John Pierce of Manassas, Virginia; grandchildren, Kelsey Brown, Sarah Bergman, Meghan Miller, Brandyn and Josslyn Pierce, and Raymond and Jayden McGuire; great-grandchildren, Bradley Dougherty Jr., Adam Brown, and Benjamin Bobal; brothers, Daniel Eugene Pierce of The Villiges, Florida, Richard Marion Pierce of Fairfield Bay, Alaska, and Steven James Pierce of Cleveland; and sisters, Joan Kay Staughton of Berthoud, Colorado, and Veronica Elizabeth Pierce of Peoria, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Jean Meggitt; and brothers, Larry Allen Warren and John Edward Locke.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Kenneth's service will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, Virginia, 22172.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
