Kathleen Ann Stober, 82, of New London, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 12, 2025, at The Laurels of New London. She was born October 1, 1942, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Adams) Duta in North Olmstead.

Kathleen grew up on the family farm in New London. She was a 1961 graduate of New London High School. Kathleen worked many years as a cook at New London and South Central for both the middle and elementary Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Dietary Managers Association. Kathleen was talented in the art of knitting and crocheting. She loved to cook and do word searches in her spare time, but her most cherished time was spent with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marlene (Dennis) Hutchinson of Willard, Dwight (Vicki Edeington) Stober of Glouster, and Diane (Ed) Brooks of Bellevue; her grandchildren, Felicia (Josh) Dobias, Seth (Jamie Stephans) Hale, Joshua (Kayla) Hale Ashley (Chris) Marett, Kathleen Stober, Jessica (Chad) Dondrea, Ted (Tabbatha) Brooks, and Dillan Brooks; 18 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Linda (Raymond) Turner of Florida, and Doris (Jim) Parkinson of Malta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in passing by her husband, Carl E. Stober; daughter, Michele Stober; her brothers, Joseph Duta, Howard Duta, and Don Duta; and great-grandson, Aiden Hale.

Friends and family may call from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Brickner officiating. Burial will follow at Clarksfield Cemetery.
