Jeanie Mason, 49, residing in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away early Tuesday morning, Feb. 21, 2023, at Piedmont Metro Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jeanie was born Sept. 15, 1973, in Norwalk, to Oma (Robinson) Mason and Jerry Mason. She graduated from Western Reserve High School and furthered her education at Toledo University, where she received her master's degree. Jeanie was employed as a computer programmer at Macy's.
Jeanie was an animal lover and especially enjoyed caring for her two beloved cats. She had a servant's heart and looked for ways to help others. Jeanie was an avid traveler, especially to new destinations.
Jeanie is survived by her parents, Oma (Robinson) Mason and Jerry Mason of Norwalk; boyfriend, Jeff Rick of Georgia; brother, Roby Mason of Norwalk; sisters, Rita (Stephen) Mazur of Monroeville, Tina (Patrick) Briand of Norwalk, and Neva Tonich of Huron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Jeanie's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Procession and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
