Barbara Ellen (Yontz) Knupke, 83, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born January 26, 1943, in Sandusky, to Robert T. and Ellen (Rickard) Yontz. She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening outdoors, spending time with her family, and sitting on the front porch with her dog, Lily. She was an avid collector of angels, enjoyed attending church, and her Bible studies. She attended Foundation Church in Norwalk.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin Schade, Melanie (David) Langjahr, and Pamela (Richard) Lotz; a son, Daniel Knupke; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy Slocum; a brother-in-law, Richard Good; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian S. Knupke, in 2008; her sisters, Patricia Stookey and Mary Lou Good; and her parents.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, with Pastor Brian Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
