Harl R. Myers, 76, of Norwalk, died naturally but unexpectedly Friday, October 17, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He was born December 25, 1948, in Norwalk, to the late Ray and Rosaltha (Husted) Myers and was a Norwalk High School graduate.

Harl was an avid chess player with many interests and hobbies over the years, including photography, gardening, collecting music, art, collecting knives, and computers and technology in general. He served his country as part of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Professionally, Harl worked for GTE (later Verizon) and Fisher-Titus Medical Center, installing telecommunications systems.

Survivors include his children, Ray (Stacie) Myers of Mansfield and Michelle (Len) Krisha of Collins; brother, Toby Myers; grandchildren, Morgan Anderson, Claire and Connor Myers; and sister-in-law, Karla Blanton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane (Schaefer) Myers, in 2019 and a sister, Cathy Corwin.

Visitation for Harl will be from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a committal service and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
