Elaine Mae (Keefer) Martin, 94, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk.
She was born Aug. 29, 1929, in Toledo, to Timothy Linden and Ardella Mae (Robertson) Keefer. She graduated from Willard High School in 1947.
She worked at Philco, Hill's Department Store, as a foreman at Sandusky Plastics/Foster Grant, and as a secretary and bookkeeper at Martin Motors. Elaine attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Cedar Point Congregation. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, yard work, puzzles, playing cards, Farmville, Facebook, and Eagles.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Ron) Wildenthaler and Kathleen "Kitty" Martin of Sandusky; sister, Beverly Yoha of Bradenton, Florida; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and cat, Ebony.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Donald Martin (2011); and brother, Wayne Keefer (2017).
Visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, until the time of Elaine's memorial service at 11 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Greg Seavers officiating.
Private burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.
