Edward Allen Neeley, 53, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly at his home from a heart attack.

Ed was born Jan. 9, 1969, in Sandusky, to the late Carl and Barbara (Bennett) Neeley.

He loved spending time with his family and friends and never met a stranger. Ed loved fishing, hunting, playing dart ball and basketball, camping, cooking, having picnics with anyone who wanted to show up, and watching Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his life partner, Leslie Massingill-Neeley of 29 years; daughter, Kaila (Travis) Neeley; sons, Wesley Mitchell and Elijah Neeley; stepson, Johnathon Massingill; grandchildren, Malaki, Navarah, Anthony, Zayden, and Levi; brother, Carlee (Glina) Neeley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vernon (Karen) Mitchell, Cindy (Jim) Duncan, Jonnie (Bob) Shafer, Patricia Wood, Sara (Ron) Berry, Claudia (Pete) Berry, Ray (Jenny) Russell, Billy Mitchell, and Anna (Jason) Wood; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, lots of good friends, plus extra brothers from other mothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, until the time of Ed's memorial service at 1 p.m. at Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd. The Rev. Tom Groot will officiate.
