David Edward Ott, 64, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1960, in Norwalk to the late John C. and Mary K. (Shutts) Ott. He was a graduate of EHOVE Career Center and completed a greenskeeper program at Michigan State University. He worked for many years throughout Michigan and Ohio in the golf industry, and most recently at Sycamore Hills Golf Course in Norwalk.
He is survived by his sons, Jason (Nancy) Ott of Anchorage, Alaska and Joshua (Shannon) Ott of Norwalk; grandchildren, Pennigan and Harper; brothers, Kevin (Beth) Ott of Monroeville and Chris (Michelle) Ott of Milan; and longtime friend, Amy Wolf of Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Kathryn Ott in infancy.
A celebration of David's life will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Sycamore Hills Golf Course, 14 Sycamore Drive, Norwalk.
Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
