Darren Edward Hall, 28, of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at his home.

He was born Oct. 10, 1995, in Willard, the beloved son of Douglas and Amanda (Stephens) Hall. Darren was a young man who lived his life with passion and gentle spirit. His love for video games was well-known and he spent countless hours immersed in the worlds they created. This passion was not just a hobby, but a part of who Darren was. He was a person who appreciated creativity, storytelling, challenges, and the art of gaming.

He worked at Autoneum in Norwalk for the past six years. He was known for his hard work and dedication. He was a reliable and caring colleague, always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh. Darren will be deeply missed by all who know him, both at work and in his personal life. Darren's family and friends will forever remember his kind heart, infectious smile, and the joy he brought to their lives. Though his time was short, the impact he made on those around him will last a lifetime.

Darren is survived by his parents; brothers, Michael (Aliyah) Wilson and Tyler Hall, both of Norwalk; sister, Summer Hall of Norwalk; maternal grandfather, Ashland Stephens; and nieces, Braelynn and Brynlee Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Garnett Miller Stephens; paternal grandparents, Billy Joe and Kathleen Hall; and cousins, Spencer and Tyler Wilson.

Visitation for family and friends will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Darren's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
