Barbara Leber, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday morning, Dec. 15, 2022, at Stein Hospice following a brief illness.

Barb was born May 13, 1946, in Fremont, Ohio, to the late Lester and Rosetta (Boss) Leber.

Barb grew up in Bellevue, Ohio, where she graduated from York High School. She moved to Sandusky and became a life-long resident. Barb owned and operated Pizza House West on Tiffin Ave. for many years, where she became known as the "pizza queen." After selling Sandusky Pizza House, she opened Bellevue Pizza House with her niece, Johna Warner, and brother, Mike. Barb was instrumental in helping others establish their own pizza businesses and her influence continues to successfully guide them today. She helped raise her nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, visiting with friends, hosting parties, and spending time with her family and friends. Barb was a very giving and caring person and she will be greatly missed.

Barb is survived by her sister, Linda Kaufman of Sandusky; brothers, Mike and Pat (Regina), both of Bellevue, Tom (Susan) of Clyde, and Steve (Tami) Leber of Green Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Karen Leber; and nephews, Chris Earhart and Jamie Leber.

A celebration of life will be 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
