William Irvin Ulery, 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

William was born April 27, 1948, in Sandusky, to the late William and Maxine Ulery.

William was a United States Navy veteran who proudly served from 1967 to 1969. He was employed with American Quality Stripping for many years, and he really enjoyed his co-workers there. William was a member of Orioles Club.

William is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda (Edgington) Ulery, whom he married September 5, 1970. He is also survived by his daughter, Cynthia Ulery; grandchildren, Nicole (Dan) Ramey, Alnathan Keys, and Tatyanna Keys; great-grandchildren, Makaia Keys and Testimony Swinson; sister, Sharon (Jeff) Slomski; brothers, Ron (Terri) Ulery, Randy (Theresa) Ulery and Rick (Anne) Ulery; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his in-laws, Harlan and Bonnie Edgington; an infant son; granddaughter, Sierra Keys; brothers, Chris Ulery and Larry Ulery; and nephews, Randy Ulery Jr. and Ronnie Ulery.

Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Burial services will be private at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
