Wayne Caudill Obituary

Gaffney, SC
Wayne Caudill, 76, resident of Gaffney, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Cherokee Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 21, 1948, in Topmost, Kentucky, to Foster Caudill and Mary Kiser Caudill and was a Plymouth resident before moving to Gaffney, South Carolina. He attended Midway Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Shelby Globe before retiring from Dutch Maid Logistics. Wayne drove to all of the continental states except Arizona and New Mexico. He enjoyed NASCAR races, vintage cars, and all sports.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Madonna Sue Tuttle Caudill; daughter, Lenora Gibson of Willard; twin brother, Blane Caudill; sister, Evelyn Compton; and two grandchildren, Haleigh Locke (Nate Locke) of Lacey, Washington, and Chandler Gibson (Kimberlie Parks) of Willard.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lori Caudill; three brothers, James Caudill, Roba Caudill, and Alvin Caudill; and three sisters, Verniece Tuttle, Roberta Preston, and Alma Hess.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Secor Funeral Home, Plymouth. Wayne's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
