Norwalk
Thomas Wilson Myers, 74, of Painesville and formerly Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, comfortably in hospice care after an intense bout of the flu and an eight-year-long diagnosis of Parkinson's.
He was born November 18, 1951, to the late Boyd and Mary (Phillips) Myers. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School and worked in maintenance at Mayflower for many years. He was an avid fisherman and fished whenever he got the chance. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, and playing chess.
He is survived by his children, Elisha (Vincent) Paratore, Bonnie (Xavier) Myers and Jay Myers; his sister, Polly (Tom) Offenbecher; and his four grandchildren; along with many others who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Thomas' life will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be at a later date.
