Thomas C. Sommers, 57, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023.
He was born Jan. 3, 1966, in Columbus, and was a 1984 graduate of Edison High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in interior design and worked for over 18 years with Norwalk Furniture. He received paramedic and nurses training and enjoyed golfing, hunting, cooking, and entertaining.
He is survived by his father, Dr. Charles (Dr. Judith) Sommers of Milan; brothers, Dr. Norman C. (Tracey) Sommers of Norwalk and Dr. Adam P. (Shannon) Sommers of Norwalk; daughter, Danielle Sommers of Columbus, and her mother, Deborah Sommers of Norwalk; nieces, Nancy, Isabella, Cadance, and Emmy; nephews, Justin, Caleb, Mitchell, and Bryan; and stepsiblings, Michael (Eva) and Missy (Eric).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy (Peebles) Sommers on June 19, 1993.
Thomas' private graveside service will be at Milan Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Huron County Dog Warden, 130 Shady Lane Drive #10, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857.

I am very saddened to see this news of Tom's passing. He was a wonderful guy! I worked with him many years opening the Norwalk Furniture franchise stores and he was always a joy to work with and be around. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and have my deepest sympathy. He will be greatly missed.
