Roberta Ward Obituary

Roberta Ann Ward

Feb 1, 1942 - Oct 29, 2025

Marblehead

Roberta Ann Ward, 83, of Marblehead, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at The Willows at Bellevue. She was born February 1, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of George T. and Beatrice (McClure) Cook.

Roberta, a lifelong beautician who attended beauty school in Cleveland, was a dedicated member of Eagles 490 Auxiliary, Port Clinton Elks, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bellevue. She had a passion for baking and cooking, and her handmade cutouts will be cherished by her grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother, Roberta devoted countless hours to supporting her family's endeavors. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters, eagerly anticipating their annual Christmas shopping weekends, and found joy in being by the water and on boats.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Mason "Bill" Ward, whom she married June 9, 1962 in Bellevue; three daughters, Tamra (Jeff) Hay, Kimberly (Michael) Sharlow, and Deborah (Craig) Winke; and six grandchildren, Michaela Sharlow, Turner Hay, Kamryn Sharlow, Sydni Rodriguez, Gracyn Hay, and Cooper Winke.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her twin brother, Robert Cook and brother, Richard Cook.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Ottawa County Humane Society.
