Randall L. "Randy" Powers

Randall L. "Randy" Powers, 65, of Greenwich and formerly of Norwalk, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at UH Samaritan Hospital, Ashland. He was born October 1, 1959, in Norwalk to the late Marilyn (Best) and Virgil Powers. Randy worked for Hy-Time Construction Company finishing concrete. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger and loved talking about the time he served in the US Army and concrete projects he worked on. Randy enjoyed animals and could be found setting outside enjoying them.

Randy is survived by his two daughters, Kristina Powers Robitsch of Olympia, Washington, and Chelsea Powers of Norwalk; sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Brown of Norwalk and Mary Lou (Tom) Elston of Shiloh as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Powers and Marilyn Powers-Stiver; and brother, John Powers.

In honor of his wishes, there will be no services, and burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, New London.

Randy, John, and Carolyn were one of the first group of kids i met in 1965 when my folks moved to a house on Franklin st in Norwalk. Had seen these kids time to time over the years. Very nice people...so sad for Randy..way too soon God bless
