Nancy L. Laface, 90, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Norwalk Memorial Home.

Nancy was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Norwalk, to August and Lavinia (Bernola) Tomei.

Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Norwalk High School. She was employed at Norwalk Furniture and Love Furniture for a combined 50 years as an accountant and payroll clerk. Nancy was a very involved member of St. Mary Catholic Church, serving on the Alter and Rosary Society and the luncheon committee. She also enjoyed being a part of a long-running card club. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Linda Piontkowski of Norwalk and Larry Laface of Olmsted Falls; grandchildren, David Piontkowski and Trina (David) Reineck; and great-grandchildren, Maya Reineck, Tyson Reineck, and Adam Slate.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Carl Laface, who passed away in 2021; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, until the time of prayer service at 12:30 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
