Martha Ann "Marty" Eberly, 87, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 1, 2023, at home.

Marty was born June 27, 1936, in Tiffin, to Ethel (Bain) and George Wise. She graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School as a member of the class of 1954. Marty was employed at Fisher-Titus Medical Center for 17 years. She was a faithful and very active member of St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church. Marty had a generous heart and enjoyed serving in any role that was needed. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking walks, baking, shopping with her daughter, coffee with friends, listening to Lawrence Welk, and traveling.

Marty is survived by her daughter and best friend, Jill (Bennet Wang) Eberly of Chicago, Illinois; six stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and three brothers, Dennis (Paula) Wise, Michael (Joan) Wise, and Louis (Kathleen) Wise.

Marty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald "Jerry" Eberly, who passed in 2022; and son, Joseph Eberly, who passed in 1991.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
