Maria C. (Loyer) Hackathorn, 61, of Collins, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1961, in Norwalk, to Bernard Sr. and Carmella Loyer. She graduated from Western Reserve High School and raised her children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gadoonie hunting, cooking, swimming, riding her 4-wheeler, and the outdoors.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny (Sabrena) Hackathorn of Sandusky and Dustin (Heather) Hackathorn of Collins; grandchildren, Psyan, Sapphire, SirRulean, Poseidon, Caspian, Madison, Jacob, and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Osiris and Ellianna; siblings, Renee Whitney of Collins and Mike Loyer of Norwalk; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Tom Loyer, Steve Loyer, Dan Loyer, and Bernie Loyer Jr.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, until the time of Maria's service at 6 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
