Lucille C. Sickinger, 84, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.

She was born May 11, 1940, in Norwalk, to Leonard and Lucille (Grosswiler) Sickinger.

Lucille enjoyed BINGO, reading, watching the game show network, playing Jeopardy with family, spending time with her great-grandchildren, and gardening. She retired after many years of service at Maple City Rubber.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael (Barb) Sickinger; sisters, Ev (Paul) Ott, Shirley Nickoli, and Pam (Ed) Hoon; grandchildren, Brandi (Tyler) Finley, Megan (Dave) Brown, and Liz (Branden) Resor; and great-grandchildren, Mikey, Cali, Colton, Dylan, Logan, and Kyle.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Rd., Norwalk (Peru). Fr. Ron Schock will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio, 44870, or St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (to help with future honorary masses).
