Larry G. Risner, 77, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024.
He was born May 30, 1947, to Jake and Ivellea (Hall) Risner.
Larry was a graduate of New London High School and proudly served in U.S. Army. He was a dedicated, long-time employee at Freudenberg-NOK in Milan.
He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, vacationing with his family, watching movies, driving his latest Chevy sports car, and cheering on Dallas Cowboys.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gail (Eldridge) Risner of Norwalk; children, Brandon (Mandy) Risner of Huron and Angela (Scott) Smith of Medina; grandchildren, Dallas, Shay, Lily, Wyatt, and Owen; sister, Rosalie Kidd of New London; mother of his children, Mary Longwell; and other special relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Susann Risner; and infant brother, Leon Risner.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street. Private interment will take place at Ashland County Memorial Park at a later date.

Larry was a great guy. I worked with him for several years. He will definitely be miss by all who knew him. Hugs and prayers for his family. RIP buddy !!
