Kevin Kenneth Schau Sr., 71, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, after a short but courageous battle with lung cancer. Born December 14, 1953, in Marietta, Kevin was a proud graduate of Elyria High School.
He honorably served his country in both the United States Army and United States Navy, a true patriot with an unwavering sense of duty and pride.
Kevin worked as a dedicated machinist for many years at Forest City Technologies, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, steady hands, and quiet professionalism.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 15 years, Tina M. Schau (n�e Cammarn Harlow); his children, Kevin (Amanda) Schau Jr. and Nicole (Alexander) Strick; and his stepchildren, Philip (Autumn) Harlow and Heather Harlow. He also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren, Britni, Austin, Madison, Leah, Chloe, Caeden, Irelan, Landen, and Olive; and one beloved great-grandchild who brought him endless joy.
He is also survived by his brother, Rick (Linda) Schau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Betty (n�e Abicht) Schau and his stepson, Brian Harlow.
Kevin will be remembered for his quiet strength, his humor, his love for family, and his deep pride in his service to his country. He was also a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, faithfully cheering on his team through every season, win or lose.
His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

I worked with Kevin in plant 4 at Forest City Technologies 2nd shift. he was a great worker, a really funny guy, and respectfully a Vet.I'm gonna miss his jokes, and his stories. Sending love and prayers for his family and friends.

He was a great man...I would like to thank him for his years of service...and any many years we worked with each other...we always made a special nod to Jim no matter the time of year been doing it for years....Tina...he always spoke highly of you... this one hit home desperately to me...didn't get 20 ft away from reading his obituary without tears running down my face...our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as well my other half who knew him also... please know he will be greatly missed by many that he worked with and was very loved and respected...
