Karen Marie Risner

Karen Marie Risner, 72, of Bellevue, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family under the care of Stein Hospice.

Karen was born July 2, 1952. She attended school in Mobile, Alabama, and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1971.

Karen and Arlie Risner were married for 52 years. She was a wonderful wife and the best mother anyone could ask for. Heaven gained an angel.

Karen is survived by her husband, Arlie Risner; her daughter, Erica (Jim) Krause; her sons, Christopher Risner, Jonathon (LaBreeska) Risner, and Micah (Trish) Risner; one sister, Chasity James, and aunt Shirley Leonard; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Burchel Sexton and Sharon Jamerson; siblings, Kenny Sexton and Jamie Stockfleth.

A celebration of life will be at a later date among family and friends.

The family would like to thank Pfeil Funeral Home and Stein Hospice for their hospitality and services.
