John Farmer passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at his home.
He was born and raised in New London by his parents, Jack and Vondale Farmer. He worked as a communication technician throughout his life until suffering a stroke in 2009 and enjoyed operating Ham radio. Despite his health challenges, he maintained a quick sense of humor and positive attitude, contributing joy among his family and friends. His faith and activity as one of Jehovah's Witnesses enhanced his bright spirit.
He is survived by his wife, Goldie Farmer of New London; sister, Nan (Richard) Mierzwiak of Toledo; and nephew, Aaron (Kristen) Mierzwiak and his family.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Rosabelle.
Visitation for friends will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, until the time of John's memorial service at 4 p.m. at Birmingham Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6001 OH-60, Wakeman, Ohio, 44889.
