Jesse K. Lang, 78, of Wakeman, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family after a brief terminal illness.

He was born May 3, 1947, in Morgan County, Alabama, to William and Beulah (Edmonson) Lang.

Jesse was employed at the Lorain Ford Motor Co. assembly plant for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed anything that involved the water. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating and spending time with his family camping, and their many trips to Florida.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Judith, whom he married September 2, 1967; daughters, Theresa (Paul) Gearing of Ft. Myers, FL, and Kimberly (William "Pug") Pylant of Collins; son, Christopher Lang of Wakeman; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sherry Harris and Linda Meredith, both of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Lattie Lang of Fayetteville, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Doris Chasteen of Alabama, Shirley McLamb of North Carolina, and Jo Horning of Norwalk.

At his request, there will be no public services.

Those wishing to contribute to Jesse's memory may do so to Southern Care Hospice, Milan.

Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, is handling arrangements.
