Jean M. Null of Norwalk died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Storypointe of Waterville, 30 days shy of her 93rd birthday.

She was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Sandusky, to Carl and Mildred (Swisher) Lutes. Jean graduated from the former Townsend High School and was a resident of the area for most of her life.

She loved traveling, especially to places where live music could be found like the Grand Ole Opry and Branson, Missouri. Jean enjoyed cross stitch and sewing and often used those talents to fix and make clothes for her family. She had a sweet tooth and found something to do every day, whether it was a trip to the grocery, Dairy Queen, or Toft's in Sandusky. She was once active in many organizations when she was younger and was always a hard worker both at home and outside the home, helping provide for her family.

Jean is survived by her son, William (Tammy) Judge of Norwalk; daughter, Bonnie (Sheppard) Bost of Napoleon; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Judge Sr. and Bob Null; and brothers, Carl "Bud" and Wayne Lutes.

Jean's memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. Pastor T.J. Knapp will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Meadowgreen Cemetery, Huron.
