Frank Delius, 94, resident of Sandusky, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk, where he had been a resident for about six weeks.

He was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Sandusky, and was a graduate of Sandusky High School in 1947. He was an auto mechanic in his younger years and enjoyed taking trips with his wife and son, especially to Branson, Missouri. He like watching car racing and dogs shows on T.V. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his son, Dennis F. Delius and Wilda Smith of Norwalk; brother, Robert Delius; and niece, Angela Delius of Sandusky. He is leaving behind three good friends, Rita Rengal, Jim Duncan, and Bob Vettel.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Hammond Delius, whom he married April 16, 1949; and parents, Frank and Frieda Delius.

Visitation for friends will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, until the time of Rank's funeral at 12:30 p.m. at Meadow Green Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2062 Bogart Road, Huron, with Pastor Wally Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.

Those wishing to contribute to Frank 's memory may do so to Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
