Eugene "Big U" A. Dillery, 66, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, November 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 13, 1958, in Sandusky, to the late Allen Dillery and late Darlene (Jamison) Lynch.
Eugene was a 1977 graduate of Perkins High School. He recently retired from Penske after 17 years. Previously, he worked at Union Chain and owned a semi-truck company, B&E Haulin. He was also the owner of Gutter Boss, Inc. for many years.
Eugene was an avid golfer and hunter. He also loved riding his many Harleys, often traveling thousands of miles across the country. He attended the Church of God. Big U was the pillar of his family, always spending time with the ones he loved and helping others in any way he could.
Eugene is survived by the love of his life of 41 years, Rebecca "Becky" (Rhonehouse) Dillery; four sons, Art (Melissa) Killian of Sandusky, Andy (Stephanie) Killian of Sandusky, Eugene (Emma) Dillery of Sandusky, and David (Amber) Dillery of North Carolina; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Aprel (Mark) Martin of Akron, and Kelly Dillery of Sandusky; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his brothers, Encil "Louie" Dillery, Terry Dillery, and Allen Dillery; and his grandparents, Art and Doloris Jamison.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Visitation will also take place from noon until time of funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the funeral home. Pastor Russell Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made in Eugene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
