Donald James Hardy passed away peacefully Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.
Donald was employed with TC Wilson Masonry and later with Hardy Masonry, where he took great pride in his work. A man of many skills and passions, he especially loved woodworking, hunting, and fishing, activities that reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship and the outdoors.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Hardy; his sons, Douglas (Margaret) Hardy, David (Cheryl) Hardy, and Donald Hardy; his grandchildren, Megan, William, Bart, Brittany, and Aubry; and several great-grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Leona Hardy; His Wife Phyllis Hardy, his brothers, Dwight and John "William"; his sisters, Hildred Crabbs, Laura Moon, Margery Burrey, Gertrude Young, and Alice Gilbert; and his grandchildren, Brett and Kadi.
Private services will take place. Foster Funeral Home & Crematory in Huron, is assisting family with arrangements.
