Carol A. Straub, 64, of Sandusky, has passed on to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, after a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 1, 1959. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and family.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur E. Straub, with whom she would have celebrated 30 years of marriage this year; mother, Pearl Duncil; sisters, Linda (Todd) Duncil and Tammy (Manny) Tran; children, Christopher (Deana) Straub, Todd (Annie) Straub, Jeremiah (Courtney) Straub, and Amber (Kevin) Cox; many grandchildren; and beloved dogs, Samuel and Duke.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Lendon "Bo" Duncil.

Carol's life is marked by her profound dedication to her family who stood as a cornerstone of her existence. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Carol's celebration of life for family and friends to visit and share memories with a dinner afterwards will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Rd., Sandusky, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Keith Martinez will preside.
