North Fairfield

Brian L. Parrott, 67, of North Fairfield, Ohio, changed lanes from this life to the next Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

He was born Dec. 10, 1956, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Howard and Wilma (Orphey) Parrott. He lived in Hemet, California and attended Hemet Elementary School for three years, moved back to Ohio, and attended North Fairfield schools graduating from South Central High School and EHOVE in 1976, where he studied Machinist Trades.

Brian is survived by his son, Eddy Lee (Shawna) Parrott; sister, Linda Lee (John) Reilly; grandsons, David Lee Parrott and Jonathan Lee Jordan; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Adam Lee Parrott in 1990; and former wife, Nina Jean Parrott, in 2015.

Brian was a janitor for North Fairfield and South Central Schools, had worked for Frederick's Machine Shop, Faulhaber Factory in Monroeville, R & D Equipment Inc. and for many years worked alongside his parents as a Volkswagen mechanic in North Fairfield.

Brian enjoyed riding bicycles throughout his life, and spent a lot of time on the North Inland Trail. He also built go karts, mini bikes, 3 wheeled "trike" motorcycles, and rehabbed old Volkswagens. He liked to tell old stories, listen to music of the 70's and 80's, spend time on YouTube, with family and his grandson, David, build model cars and trucks, follow wrestling, especially Hulk Hogan, and play Little League baseball. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, Dart Ball Club at Maria's Bar, and Brothers of the Third Wheel.

In keeping with Brian's wishes he will be cremated and laid to rest at North Fairfield Cemetery. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
