Andrew "Andy" Jeremay Sr., 73, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 20, 1952, in Sandusky, to Floyd Jeremay Sr. and Dorothy Lynn.
Andy graduated from Huron High School and married Sandra Smith in 1971. Together, they raised four children. Over the years, he worked for multiple companies in milling maintenance, including Pillsbury, Harvest States, and Star of the West.
He especially enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR, spending time in his garage, and family cookouts with his kids and grandkids.
Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jeremay; his oldest daughter, Kelly Jeremay; his parents; and his brothers, Sam, Jim, and Jack Jeremay.
He is survived by his children, Melissa (David) Morrow of Berlin Heights, Andrea (Mike Peterson) Jeremay of Berlin Heights, and Andrew (Amy) Jeremay Jr. of Berlin Heights. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, John, Harley, Tommy (Sierra), Thomas, Jacob, Alissa, Cassie, Hayley, Brendan, Becca, Devin, Charlize, Olivia, Andrew, and Adalyn; and his great-grandchildren, Chance, Bella, Nova, Kyllian, and Elias.
In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Floyd Jeremay of Millbury, Tim (Deb) Jeremay of Huron, Dorothy Castle of Huron, and Mary Jennings of Sandusky, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4–6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main Street, Huron. A final goodbye will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Meadow Green Cemetery for a 10:30 a.m. burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or SouthernCare Hospice Services.
Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, Huron, is assisting the family.
