Yolanda Garcia, 62, of Willard, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. Yolanda was born June 13, 1960, in Alice, Texas, to Martin and Polle (Lamb) Aguilar.

Yolanda graduated from Willard High School in 1979. Soon, thereafter, she married Jesus "Jesse" Garcia Sr. on Aug. 11, 1979, and they started a beautiful life together. She worked at Midwest Industries for 12 years then, later, worked in the cafeteria at Huron County CAC. Most recently, she was employed with Heuter of Toledo. Yolanda was a faithful member of The Chapel in Norwalk.

She was a loving, genuine person that brought the best out of everyone. She enjoyed sewing and was quite the multitasker. Yolanda was an excellent cook and was known for her enchiladas. Yolanda loved her grandchildren and enjoyed having them stay with her.

Yolanda will be missed by her husband, Jesse Garcia; children, Jessica (Brian) Heimrich, Michelle (Josh) Kraft, and Jesse Garcia Jr.; grandchildren, Lexi Moore, Jacoby, Brady, and Everett Kraft, and Karsen and Kelci Garcia; great-grandchild, Stevie Carrington; parents, Martin and Polle Aguilar; siblings, Martin (Kim) Aguilar Jr., Lucy (Patrick) Spayde, Bobby (Mary) Aguliar, and Crissy (Donald) Owsley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to visit 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at Secor Funeral Home, Willard. Yolanda's funeral will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Todd Nielson and Pastor Charles Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
