Helen J. Moyer, 82, of Manheim, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillie Stoner Hossler. She was the loving wife of Carl M. Moyer and they observed their 63rd wedding anniversary this year. Helen was a cook at the former Kreider’s Restaurant, Manheim. She was a member of Hernley Mennonite Church, Manheim and volunteered at Landis Homes, Lititz. She enjoyed camping, traveling and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband Carl, are two daughters, Denise wife of Barry Heberling of Mount Joy, Dawn wife of Barry Geib of Manheim, a son, C. Darvin Moyer of Kennedyville, MD, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Baker of East Petersburg. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Bradley Geib and David Stoltzfus Jr., a daughter-in-law, Lisa Moyer, three brothers: Harry Jr., Martin and Jay Hossler and a sister, Darlene Zeigler.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen’s Funeral Service at Hernley Mennonite Church, 746 Lebanon Road, Manheim on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Helen’s memory to Hernley Mennonite Church, c/o: charity and medical fund.
