William C. "Bill" Sherck passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at New Destiny Housing in Clinton, Ohio. Bill was born March 23, 1957, to the late Phyllis (Miller) Sherck and John Sherck. Bill was a resident of Steuben most of his life, attending Willard High School.
Bill worked for many years at Baumann Chevrolet, finishing his career as a car detailer with Sharpnack Chevrolet.
Bill enjoyed motorcycling, riding his 4-wheeler to the woods to enjoy a peaceful campfire, and taking many drives and shopping excursions with his mom.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Mike Sherck of Steuben and Greg (Shirley) Sherck of North Fairfield; and stepsister, Michelle Shepherd Newman of Bly, Oregon. Also left to cherish Bill's memory are his six nieces, Lisa, Julie, Morgan, Olivia, Linae, and Bree; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Nancy Sherck; and nephew, Daniel Sherck.
There will be a graveside service at a later date.
Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home in Norwalk is honored to assist the Sherck family with Bill's arrangements.
